V- cam RB2.6L 2530kai vs RB 2.8L 2860-10....

Many people requested compare graph for HKS V- cam and the others.

Compare at1.2 bar of boost.

Two graph are comparisons from:RB26 with HKS v- cam step 1, Tomei Piston, Rod, Stock Crank, 264cam HKS 2530 kai turbo

And Tomei RB28kit with garett2860-10.

V-cam boost is comes earler, however at high rev, the power is more from 2.8L engine(also at high boost as well).

Both are using similar camshaft not too high duration and lift as well. And R32GTR body with R34GTR 6speed gear box, use 4th gear to tune. And same ECU F-con Vpro Gold.

As you can see..... I'm no comment!

Another R35 turn up for service...

Just in case!!!??? check TM oil for this vehicle... and decided to change......because it was STINK!!!! smelly.....dirty...already!!!only 3500k.....

We check computer record, this car has gone to over 140c degree TM oil temp few times after drive at race track......

Well,,, take off oil sump and check just in case!.....as you can see..........yap! already...... imagine! if you don't change TM oil till long time after........It will f*** up!!!

No wonder this TM has so much trouble..(not only TM but)...

Pease of mind!!?? Yap cheaper than fix TM assemble tho.

This car turn up for tune........................The computer is Microtech with big hairdryer, stock engine, frontmount intercooler, etc.........It may take bit long time to tune from experience??!!...............



However tuning was going straight forward than we thought..........over 300kw at rear wheel. 16.5psi only....................very good job!!!

TM oil arrived

We have tried few products...................TM oil for R35.........Just transmission oil....bloody expensive.....more than engine oil(*_*)""""""""""""".......AND.............. at last??

Waiting for long time......................Finally somebody made reasonable??? TM oil.....

The price is x3 less than OEM oil and other aftermarket oil. Also this isTHE HKS products..........So must be reliable !!!?? ......the cost for transmission oil change will be NZ$500~$600(depend on exchange rate but)......year but.... still just gearbox oil tho...................Can anyone make it more reasonable??! I'm still waiting....well somebody will make......
