EVO5 WITH HKS GT2 TURBO Day2...

Day 2 with this white EVO5, previously this car tuned at 1.2bar of boost. With just cat back system and Power FC just made around 191kw at wheel.

Day2 with this EVO5!

1.2 bar boost in Green line.

At same boost(green line),the power gained at whole range, about 30kw gain at wheel.

Also boost comes bit earlier (we played with cam timing bit) 

And finally we tryed up to 1.6 bar of boost.gain over60kw at wheel,around 100hp at engine.

GT2 design for400~450HP with good pick up!! proved!!

This set up with EVO5,  the result is closer to EVO9 boost up plus camshaft!??.

                                         Today's job.....this yellow GC8...repair few stuff and retune...


Before we set car on dyno, we check vehicle first just in case. This car have few stuff need to be fix...CV boots, Exhaust leak etc.

THIS GC8 STI VER4, at 1.4 bar of boost 190W~200kw at wheel, injector is almost max. So safe zone....1.3 bar around 180~190kw at four wheel.  Still big gain from 130kw standard. But hard to find good condition car tho.

I think better to get second hand engine and gearbox......cheaper and firster!
