This 2006 SUBARU turn up for tuning......previously this car has engine trouble, so the car comes with new engine with
high flow turbo.
We started tuning...however...misfire at 4500rpm on load(1.3 bar of boost). Quickly we changed ignition coil(common trouble for this vehicle) and start tune again. Next miss at over 5500rpm!!
Look at logging........ECU was picking up noise from crank sensor?!!...
We changed to factory ECU, but didn't miss at all!! So is that MOTEC ECU is too sensitive ??!!
Apperentry, we heard that many people have this troble with MOTEC ECU.
We changed few set up on MOTEC, modified wiring bit and started to tune again.......Next! the injector was max!
Fit new injector(SARD 2 holes, made for this vehicle) and pump, Finally we've go result....over 260kw at wheel, 1.45 bar of boost. ..Good now! But still need adjustment for other things..MOTEC!!!
