S15 CLUTCH...........TIME TO CHANGE

Really heavy flywheel...dual mass dumper fly.....but too heavy!!


It time to change clutch!!........most of S15 are more than 80000km on the clock..Especially this car has done more than 100,000k without changing clutch..well done!!?

So what is the option........NISMO or??...........in this case, Because of main use of this car is street, we choose EXEDY sports clutch package, comes with flywheel, disk, cover and bearing.
It almost driving like factory but of cause it's heavy duty clutch!


Comes with fancy!? pink colour cover, disk and flywheel.

change bearing as well!!

It will make little noise from gearbox, because of solid flywheel, but no problem for the performance at all!!! Good one.(^_^)

R35GTR.BRAKE.......still STANDARD???

Big brake but...still standard?!


After hard braking......

R35 standard brake system is huge.... but It does'nt mean good enough for race track use.....
After few laps of hard brake session.........brake system was crying.........check disk and pad... c..cracked...already.

We changed pad only but....We think change both in same time will be ideal. (^_^)

B18C IN WELL SET UP

This EK3 civic turn up for tune..........Power FC and full modified internal with TODA parts(according to the owner)!?This vehicle has tune by somebody ....and power check!!.......oh over 140kw at wheel....already good enough......I got bit pressure(*_*)...but look at data...maybe I can fix some and will be improve??

Result............amazing over 150kw at wheel................still 1.8Liter engine!!

Bit relieved!??

STRENGTH OF STANDARD PISTON

One car turned up for tune.....................but....something wrong!!! Not much power!! And engine is shaking bit............Lost comression or?? Let's do the compression test anyway!
As we expected!!?? one of the cylinder has just over 60psi very low compression .......But why???

Leak test .......................... leaking(*_*)" Need to open up engine to check what is wrong?

This is the consequences of...........................may be over boost??? or just unlucky???

What is the limit for standard piston............boost and horsepower???

Never had a problem with up to 1.2bar.......even 1.4.....

We found something inside oil sump!!???

Go for forged internal!!!!

SUBARU IMP with LINK PLUG IN.....!!

Exchange is still not good ............So....any alternative for ECU?........Well why don't we try some local product??? If cheaper and good, there is no reason not to use it!
Link ECU has plug in ECU for this vehicle............plug in!!!! I like this sound!....PLUG IN....NO MESS!!


As you can see there is no Air Flow meters.


Plug in but still you need to install MAP& AIR TEMP sensors.


Software is easy to use........... anyone can set it up yourself!???............but highly recommended to tune by professional for full tune................Base map is base map!!??

RB26 WATER PLUG.....................GONE!!??

One of the common problem for RB engine is................................water plug on cylinder head..front and back...........(*_*)'

If you have a big water leak from engine........................maybe this is the one!!!

It's common probrem now for especially R32 cylinder block. If you lost one................It's going to be a mission to repair...............like this one!!!

This car still has standard bottom end( only 20,000km)piston, crank and rods.........but we changed Tomei cam, head gasket set, baffle........... GT2860-5turbo,extention pipe,and intercooler piping that's it!!!

We tryed high boost........1.55bar.......not recommend to use all the times but just for Dyno run!??

Anyway 380kw at wheel 1.45bar...........345kw 1.20 bar of boost........... enough and safe for street use ...............very good!! !(^_^)!

Today, we tuned S15 with 2.2L??with HKS turbo, POWER FC with Air Flow meter(Z32), 800cc injector, SARD fuel pump, HKS turbo, TRUST waste gate etc tec.

This car looks bit messy.............but let's strat to tune.................good torque!! may be 2.2L.!!!

This car made 312kw at wheel 1.55 bar of boost, 280kw 1.2bar..... injector is 85%, and air flow meter is 82% use still!! Who say power fc with air flow meter cannot make more than 300kw???? (>_<)'
