VR4 with S-AFC

Today's job................VR4 with S-AFC tune.....

S-AFC is capable to tune up to boost up with minor modifications, such as air filter and exhaust system. But bigger injector etc will not handle properly...... Because this is SUPER AIRFLOW METER CONVERTER!! Why I'm saying this....many people try to control from this unit everything but not really!!

Anyway power check first..............128kw at four wheel at 0.6 bar of boost, and running extremely rich as..... ( this vehicle has full exhaust and air filter filter but)

And we boost up to 1to 0.8 bar(turbo is not holding boost...very small) still super rich tho......and S-AFC to adjust mixture.....

Result....180kw at wheel....NOT TOO BUT at all with small modifications.!!(^_^)

We built this car long time ago.........7years(not so long but).....Today we saw this car first time in 5years. The car had a problem.........no boost??..

Well just minor hose issue. IT's fixed!

And just in case, check power mixture timing etc on Dyno. Still going good over 420kw at 1.6 bar. Who build engine???

And we try to use Power FC to get bit better performance. Need to do some wiring, and started now! see what's gonna happen.!

S13 WITH EMS ECU......

This car turn up for tune may be retune but......the ECU is EMS....We've done quite few now, getting use to??. Anyway lets dyno run first......... Can't run ......something is not right.

Check ECU and found that Air intake temperature is not reading??? -20degree all the times!, so it's running extremely super rich.......that's why cannot run.....it's run but...like a steam engine.

Re wire and start to tune......better now.....but need to upgrade ECU for this setup!?

This engine RB30 with 26dett head(just pulled out from R34Skyline)built by somebody not long time ago(only few thousand km), has stop working ..............almost 5 month ago somehow.... suddenly why???? and It's been parked in garage. Now it's time to open up and find out what was wrong?????.......

MINT R33 and PLENUM.

This super mint R33GTS-T turn up for tune,.........stock engine, GT30 turbo, front mount, injector,Z32 Airflow, Power FC etc.

We have seen many aftermarket plenum, but this style was first time! Looks like RB26 prototype, when NISSAN was developing Rb26 engine.

We tune up to 1.05 bar of boost, and result..........over 286kw at wheel. New style plenum working good!!!

GTR BOOST UP........ECU TUNE...

GTR ECU tune(reflash)...next step..boost up. From factory o.8bar to 1.2 bar, we changed ECU mapping for boost up. Speed, Boost cut and main fuel, ignition, cam and throttle timing etc.



This vehicle has full exhaust.........only...haha!! And result(^_^)!!


Almost 400kw at wheel!


Only 1.16 bar of boost.

Around 620HP at flywheel, this power will be the maximum to run safely from factory set up.
The car is not cheap, but good cost performance for the power.......But if you want more power.....$$$$. Leave this set up for a while!?? ...or more??
