HKS GT-SS turbo for sale

We just changed the turbo,...... from this one to bigger...............So this turbo for sale>>

HKS(genuine) GT-SS turbo..suit for R32,33,34GTR, only 3000km use, almost new!!
Price NZ$2250 for pair.

RB30 POWER!!

Previously this R32 had a RB26motor with TDO6 twin set up... well......made good power!!

However the owner of this car was complaining............It's too laggy!!!

Under 6000rev is ...........slower than turtle??

Solution???................bore up??!!

So he built this new 3liter engine(actually he is the professional engine builder) and came for tune!!

Looks the same??

NO....engine sit higher than before!!

This engine made a good improvement, power, torque, boost coming up earlier than 2.6 engine.

But don't like ignition timing and high rev.............

Compare with 2.6 and 3liter!

(Tune with pump gas this thime.)

From my memory.........power and toque curve is similar to 2.8l..........So........ cost and performance wise...........2.8 or 3.0liter???? Un............................Difficult decision!!

TRUST T517 VS GARRETT GT2860-10

Today, we tuned R34GTR with TRUST- T517Ztwin spec........
Result... no too but at all..............but hold on second!!........this power and boost curve are very similar to something??..............check my computer........... oh....this is the one!! Garrett GT2860-10!! Both cars have almost the same mod...only turbo is different... ball bearing vs plane bearing.
Looks very identical!

GT-SS VS GT2860-5?or 2560R-5!!

How much different between GT-SS and 2530. This time, we use Garrett GT2560R-5(2860-5) .Anyway this turbo is almost same size as HKS GT2530, Just 1mm smaller compressor wheel, but price is very small(almost a half price!! from HKS 2530).
We use same vehicle, Just changed turbo, set same boost and try.................
Result....as we expected.......... good response with GT-SS, however another turbo is not too but, only 500 rev slower, and top end power is .............
Which turbo do you prefer????

Can this modified turbo pipe makes any different??.............

I see some car from Japan with this type of pipe..................

let's look at standard one first.........Well..........looks inefficient.....two pressure (from front and rear turbo) is crushing each other.... angle is too sharp??? This may cause of making funny sound when turbo starts to kick in??!!


So.... let's try with standard car .........same car, same day, just changed pipe( I tried few types ....can't tell you which is the best one...haha(^_^)".


Power gain at whole range.......because.... this gain from boost?? Look at boost graph..


...........So the pipe makes each turbo better spin??!!

Mind you, this is just standard boost........if it's high boost???? May be more??

I'll try with upgraded turbo and high boost later on!!??

Anyway check this car out first...... got lots of stuff (external, exmani, modify inter cooler, HKS twin power, etc,etc) ...however the owner of this car say.... engine is standard, only camshaft and head gasket. idle is "dou dou dou"....what sort of camshaft is that???


Normally S15 has six speed gear box, but this car has 5speed.....So 4th gear is 1:1 3.6??.........It's too wide isn't it??? So this guy changed diff to a S15type-S diff...4th gear became..4.083 1:1...sounds good!!!...........
Let's do it.... ???strange!this car doesn't make knock much like the other's !!!???
Result..........over 237kw at wheel???........standard turbo???.....well let's compare with
S15 boost up, both of them are the same boost.........looks bit slow response, may be form camshaft??? and under 4000rev, just boost up is better poer and response!! ...but high rev....Because of .....what???
