SR20DET.....Engine Build...tune time

Good response or top end high power???.......how about in the middle??..This car was set up for this demand.

The spec of this engine is: Garrett GT2876-R 0.64, 38mm wastegate, HKS 86mm piston, Tomei rod, Tomei 264& 272 cam, stock crank, gasket, 550cc, pump,and PowerFC with Z32 air flow.

power &boost

Reasonable response and good power at top end, this turbo is lager than 2871, however the boost and torque is holding till end, not but at all from low mount turbo as well. Now We've got another option!!.

EVOIII with GT30 turbo....

Another EVOIII turn up for tune......We do not know much about detail of this engine...2liter 264 camshaft GT30 turbo, Autronic ECU....


We tried just over 2.1 bar of boost......................

Made over 438kw at wheel.......................previously this car did 10 second.......So now......9 second!!!?

Two C33 Laurel Drift Cars.......

Today..we've got two Laurel drift cars for tune........Car No5.....Rb30 stock engine, twin set up with old LINK PC ECU

Old LINK......not really keen to tune this ECU but....made reasonable good power from stock engine......good torque and response tho....over 320kw at wheel.

And another one.......stock bottom end, gasket, and 270 camshaft........with To4Z(Garrett)

This car run with LINK G4........more easy to tune.........this car made reasonable?? power as well...over 400kw at wheel!??

Good response from RB30 twin set up.......however good top power from single set up.


Which set up do you prefer.......Both!??

EVO8 ECU flash...wastegate version!

So far, we have done many EVO8 with ECU flash tune.........most car has filter and exhaust.

This car has little bit extra........exhaust manifold and external wastegate....





When we started the boost controller seems not working??? check wastegate just in case....as usual?.......hole on diaphragm....but this gate is only 7 month old.....!!!

Well, anyway we put new gate and see what's gonna happen.



The boost is holding till end( internal gate will be drop bit), which will affect on top end power.

Result .....the car made 239.4 kw at wheel 1.5 bar of boost. Extra parts made bit more!

V-AFC alike!!

1.8l vvti engine...and Power enterprise....Camcon Ti....well V-AFC of TOYOTA version?!


This unit control VVTi point and fuel adjustment.........15kw at wheel from tune(only airfilter).....good cost performance!!!....Oh and better fuel economy as well!!

Maybe-------I can put potato....somewhere.........This one got plenty of space!!

This time....use F-con Vpro ECU....made over 200kw at wheel. not but at all.....all done by owner...good job!!

LINK ECU with RB30DET

This S15 with RB30 drift car turn up for tuning today.......the car is well build

The owner bought this car as it is.......and not running properly.....not even idle...

This car has RB30(stock) and injector, fuel pump, end LINK G4.....suppose to be!??

Anyway we try to tune....however cannot communicate with ECU................no access......

And we open ECU box and found this LINK G4 alike!!!!

vacuum hose was push into factory LED bulb.........(new style?)

Sorry we cannot tune with this new LINK ECU.......we had to tell the owner......well, we had big drama(not with us) but lucky he sourced link ECU from his mate....now we can tune(^_^)"""

But we checked this car more carefully........actually we found few more trick!!!


Finally we could manage to tune this car...and result over 330kw at wheel, 17psi....could push more....but never know what is in inside???.........good for now!? but feel very sorry for the owner tho.......we were shocked!!
